Receipt numbered by list order

Is it possible in a future update to enable receipts to be automatically numbered by the user list view or manually numbered by the user rather than it being assigned a number when a photo is attached?

For example if you had 5 receipts and then emailed them in CSV order they would be in orders #1 #2 #3 #4 and #5 but then if you were to swap entries 1 and 2 using the reorder entries button and then email as a CSV format, the order would be shown as receipt numbers #2 #1 #3 #4 and #5.

Another example would be if you were to have 5 receipts in the entries list and then deleted receipt entry #5 then input another receipt and then emailed as a CSV format, the receipt numbers would then be #1 #2 #3 #4 #6. Receipt number 5 would not be auto assigned to the newly input receipt. You would then end up in a condition where you had receipt entry number 5 in the list view showing as receipt #6 when emailed.

I do not think this has been posted before but I have received an email or two about this. The problem is that the doing this will not allow the receipt numbers to be unique (across reports). But if we make this an optional feature it would be up to you to accept this. I have noted your suggestion for the future. Thank you very much for posting this. I would appreciate it if you could email me directly and describe in detail how you would ideally like things to work. This would insure I completely understand your suggestion.
