Flight Update is the most powerful flight status application for your

iPhone or iPod Touch.


FlightUpdate combines the power of the best flight status service with the power of the best flight schedule service.


Flight Update allows you to enter most any flight and track that flight’s status.  Flight Update is not limited to entering flights within 3 days of the current day as other applications.


Once you enter the airline, flight number and day of travel, Flight Update will then validate the flight and fill-in the rest.  Even flights months into the future.

Many airlines use the same flight number for several individual flights.


If a flight number you enter has more than one leg, Flight Update will present a friendly dialog asking which cities you are traveling between.  If you then select a flight which contains more than one leg, Flight Update will enter each leg so that you can track all of them.

Flight Update presents flight status in an easy to read screen.


No other flight status application has meal information and seating charts.


(Note: Not all seating charts are available for all flights).

Entering a new flight is very easy in Flight Update.


No need to scroll through a long list of available airlines.  Instead, we allow you to have a list of favorite airlines.


The very first time you start the application, your favorites will contain the most popular airlines in the region of the world you  are located.

Flight Update saves flights in “Trips.”  Trips allow you to organize your flights.  Each trip contains a list of the cities traveled.



Flight Update allows you to enter flights months in advance.

Flight Update also has many preferences that allow you to customize the application to your own needs.

With Flight Update, it is easy to send a quick email to someone in your Contacts list.

Flight Update allows you search for direct flights from any two airports in the world.


If the airport is not in the list, it can be easily added by entering the 3 letter airport abbreviation.
